About Us

WHO ARE WE?
Project iRemember is a local health screening project initiated by Medicine students of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Inaugurated in 2014, Project iRemember is in its 10th year of serving the community. With the help of student volunteers from NUS Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy, we have held screenings in Taman Jurong, Woodlands, Tampines Changkat, Tiong Bahru, Jurong Spring, Chong Pang, and most recently in Eunos.
OUR AIMS
SCREEN
To provide a free cognitive and mental health screening in addition to physical screening
EDUCATE
To increase understanding of dementia and geriatric depression among youth volunteers and the public through screening and public education events
IDENTIFY
To identify elderly with or at risk of developing dementia or depression; and follow-up with them to help delay the progression of their conditions
RESEARCH
To improve on our initiatives by conducting research on our current measures and hence improving the efficacy of these initiatives.

OUR FOCUS
Project iRemember strongly believes in the importance of primary and secondary prevention of dementia and geriatric depression.
We focus on public awareness and education, early detection of dementia and mental health issues via free health screening and ensure sustainability of our impact through rigorous follow up measures.
